Gears of War 4: Fergusson confirms the split-screen

Rod Fergusson, boss of The Coalition, spoke to Game Informer of expectation multiplayer Beta of the upcoming Gears of War 4 , discussing some features that we will find in the game. Among these Fergusson confirmed the presence of split-screen, which is the ability to face and play any split screen mode available.

Unlike what happened with the recent Halo 5 , The Coalition sees the split-screen a key feature and essential, integral to the series. Of course this choice will inevitably some compromises. While the multiplayer has a normal frame-rate to 60 fps, in fact, in split screen such value will halve moving on canons 30 fps already confirmed for the campaign.

Speaking of the upcoming multiplayer Beta-available starting this month 18-Fergusson has suggested that it will be essentially a kind of build alpha multiplayer compartment and as such will be soon finished, presenting likely problems. In simple terms, according to the developer, we are not faced with a demo for marketing purposes.
