At GDC that is taking place these days in San Francisco, Daedalic Entertainment unveiled a new trailer for The Long Journey Home , new RPG title set in space. The game combines elements of classics like space adventure as Starflight and Star Control II with modern RPG in an infinite universe and procedurally generated inspired by shows like Farscape and Firefly.

In The Long Journey Home we will have the task to find its way back to Earth. An accident during the first test on the jumps has catapulted us space, along with the entire crew, on the other side of the Galaxy and the only way to get home is to explore new worlds in search of allies and help. During the trip we will encounter strange alien races and learn to conquer their confidence to fulfill our mission.
