Focus Home Interactive and developer French Cyanide released today three new images by Styx: Shards of Darkness , big-budget sequels of great Styx: Master of Shadows that will be released during the current year on Xbox One .

Screenshots, which you can see at the bottom of the news, show us some of the settings that we can explore in the course of the adventure, including the C City of thieves , built using several abandoned ships by the crew, and the huge metropolis of the Dark Elves, called Körangar. In the latter location Styx discovers a mysterious plot involving dwarfs, sworn enemies of goblins alongside Elves.

Developers have argued that the player will have a large freedom of choice to complete objectives and that each mission will test the skills of stealth.

Finally the game will use the Unreal Engine 4 to give us a more realistic graphics and gadgets, including the ropes for climbing and the cable car.
