HomeFront The Revolution: A year of additional free content and not only

Deep Silver spoke about the aspect of the new and highly anticipated DLC microtransactions and Homefront: The Revolution .

With regard to the first aspect, the development team has stated that the game will allow you to purchase additional content via microtransactions but will not be of the type pay-to-win, because marginal content will be in the game, which can still be unlocked by playing normally, so as not to create inequalities between those who will buy those contents and who will decide to do without it as stated the game designers of the game, Fasahat Salim, in a recent interview with Gamespot:

"It won't be absolutely a system of pay-to-win because all you will be able to buy through microtransactions will be available for free playing normally."

Salim said:

"All content available through the microtransactions are designed for those players who do not have much time to devote to the game you can unlock, basically are just a time saver for them, a shortcut that will allow them to unlock them."

The second and last appearance instead will make happy all customers who choose to purchase the game, because the development team has made it known to support post-launch game with a series of DLC and content completely free of charge:

"Everything that is available in the game is free and we also plan to support post-launch, for at least one year , with a series of free content. There will always be new content to suit the tastes of each. We have no intention to implement "pack" of maps or any other kind, but as soon as we finish to build a new mission, this will be immediately available and the community will be able to play freely. "

Please note that Homefront: The Revolution will be available from May 20.
