343: cannot add the split screen Halo 5, but will be considered for future titles

One of the (few) complaints of players ( and our ) regarding Halo 5: Guardians is the lack of local co-op split-screen something that has always been part of the series and that here was removed for technical reasons. In this regard, the English magazine Gamesradar interviewed the Franchise Development Director of 343 Industries Frank O'Connor, wondering whether it is possible to return to this mode via a future patch.

O'Connor explained that this is not possible due to purtorppo as the game and its engine are designed: it is not easy to now add the split-screen and there are so very few chances that this is done. At the same time, however, explained that the lack of this feature, there was a higher number of complaints than he bargained for study, and then will be taken into account in future games surely, evaluating whether it is possible to reintroduce this feature.

343 dependent has however reiterated that the developer data underline as it is a relatively small feature used by Halo fanbase, but still wanted to leave the door open to its return in future games. There only remains to cross our fingers and hope that we can return in Halo 6 to play with our friends or family members in front of the TV itself.
