Double End: Massive Chalice arrives in June on Xbox One

Presented at the GC in Cologne last year, Massive Chalice finally prepares to arrive on our console: developer Double Fine has announced that the game will arrive on PCs on 1 June and, around that time, even on the Xbox One. It is a fantasy strategy in which we will step into the shoes of a ruler who will defend his Kingdom from a mysterious enemy capable of generating dangerous creatures. The only object which the sovereign can make use to liberate the Kingdom is a powerful glass able to annihilate literally every threat.

Though chalice's powers are activated every 300 years and until they pass the 300 years the monarch and his subjects should resist the attacks of creatures.

Between a fight and the other-will be held in turns as in most classical strategic titles-we also have a number of elements: search for objects, reinforcing weapons and armor, recruit new soldiers to add to our troops and to construct buildings that will be used to train our sides.

Since we must stand up for 300 years, it is clear that we will have to think about replacing our soldiers once they have reached an advanced age. And it is here that goes into the ball Keep, sort of a building that will be occupied by some of our heroes. In a nutshell this building will serve as a place of growth where the heroes must maritarsi then proliferate and create the heirs who will replace them in battle. According to the fertility parameter, you will get children with different attack types: the Hunter will be skilled in the attacks from a distance, the Alchemist will launch bombs, the Caberjack will attack up close with superhuman strength.

Waiting for a precise date for the release of the title on Xbox One, we leave you with a very recent movie but still useful to have clearer ideas on the gameplay of the game.
