Thanks to an article of the famous Japanese magazine V-Jump, we discover that Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 will have Tag Team — the ability to change at any time the ninja that is fighting with another of our team (up to 3 members per team); a feature that already seen in various fighting games such as Tekken, Marvel vs. Capcom and Naruto: The Broken Bond , will bring a breath of fresh air to battle game system: it remains to be seen if, in online battles, the three ninja can be impersonated by three human players (as against three other players of the opposing team) or only one.

It is also not clear now if the supporting characters are abandoned as tagged Team any character in the team may be used: we await further details by Cyberconnect2 and/or Bandai Namco Games.

But that's not all: in the magazine it was announced that Hanabi Hyuga Hinata's younger sister and daughter to Hiashi, will be a new playable character . Hanabi have a Supreme Technical Ties with the latter characters together at Neji. The character in question was most likely to be revealed playable since the plot of the film of The Last : Naruto The Movie , included in the story mode of the game, she co-starred with Hinata and Naruto.
