Microsoft reorganizes the internal leadership studies: Kudo Tsunoda plays a central role

Microsoft has just announced a reorganization of the management of Microsoft, a move that is likely to be the basis of the decision by Phil Harrison to leave the company . The House of Redmond has announced that the supervisory role over all European studies (Lionhead, Rare, Lift London), which first was Harrison, will be hired by Kudo Tsunoda , which so far had been engaged in the development of technologies like Kinect and HoloLens.

Tsunoda will continue to supervise the work on the innovative HoloLens, but now his role is greatly expanded by going to cover precisely the responsibilities of the first curriculum European parties but also to those of third parties published by Microsoft, as Remedy (Quantum Break), Platinum (Scalebound) and Cloudgine (Crackdown) together with smaller studies but very promising as Press Play, Twisted Pixel Games and Decisive.

And good Kudo wasted no time, reorganizing the structure of studies entrusted to him: thus Have Lemke, CEO of Black Tusk (Gears of War), will relocate to London to follow more closely the English studies and the Danish Press Play; in its place will instead Wil Mozell, formerly General Manager of Big Park (Kinect Sports: Season Two , Kinect JoyRide ) that now will direct his previous study that Black Tusk. The current head of Lionhead Studios, John Needham, will return to Redmond to work on new Xbox HoloLens and IP.

Phil Spencer, on the other hand, in addition to directing the entire Xbox will continue to deal with the most important franchise directly for the company: Halo, Forza Motorsport, Gears of War and Minecraft.

Tsunoda said that the aim of this reorganization is to maximize the potential of the various internal studies, creating experiences that Xbox fans will love for sure: of course we hope you will really like this, we do wish to Kudo and expect to find at the next E3 what surprises await us.
