Tabata releases new information on the demo of Final Fantasy XV

The Game Director of Final Fantasy XV Hajime Tabata has released new information about the demo title in question which will be available by purchasing Final Fantasy Type-0. First of all States that you will not be able to drive the car in the demo of Noctis because it wanted to concentrate the gaming experience on other aspects.

The car is a very important element in the full game, but recent feedback, Tabata realized that users with the demo, they would like to try the combat system, the basic controls of the game and figure out how to work the exploration.

The combat system will be a lot more hectic than in the past but you can also try an automatic function "help" which will give the possibility to press only one button to thwarting the enemies.

The demo will be based on a location on the map where the walk and explore the setting will be the main purpose. For this has been completely destroyed the car.

Some of the features of the full game will not be present in the demo, but the development team believes that providing a demo like this will give players the optimal experience. The demo will last at least a couple of hours but much more if we will get to explore everything carefully.

According to the words of Tabata, the demo does not represent how the graphics quality end product, but represents the 70-80%. Will be clearly visible atmospheric changes, as the rain that creates puddles on the floor and wet the clothes of characters.

During the demo will be present at least one dungeon to explore but there will be no bosses to defeat. In addition, fans will be happy to learn that should be expected famous Chocobo. We don't know at the moment whether we will be able to ride them or they are just visible in the background.

About the airship, one of the aircraft that have been in FF9 and FFXII, the presence of this is still uncertain in the final game. Tabata knows that the airship was asked loudly from the community, but argues that currently represents a major technical hurdle. So the team can not promise anything now.

The natural environment that we will see in the Duscae region, where the demo is set, is browsable seamlessly, and the team wants this to be true even with the airship: instead of opening a map, choose your destination and arrive at the new location after a loading screen, developers would like the players were able to see the airship take off and fly really in the game world. A challenge that the development team wants to face but don't know yet if it will succeed.

Square Enix has announced the release date of the demo.
