Problems with the AC Unity patch on Xbox One: it forces you to redownload the whole game

It seems that there is no quiet lately for Ubisoft: the last issue for users, specifically those Xbox One, comes with the release of the fourth patch for Assassin's Creed: Unity last night. Some of the game's owners have found an unwelcome surprise: instead of the planned 6.7 GB, updating the demanded to redownload the whole game, for up to 40 GB of downloads.

Ubisoft informs us of being aware of the problem, saying that happens especially for those who had previously downloaded the third patch of the game. The developer is already working with Microsoft to try to solve the problem, and explains that those who want to download 40 GB will have no problem finding themselves then with the game correctly updated to the latest version.

For those who do not wish to proceed with a download so full-bodied, however, suggest a procedure applies only to those in possession of the game disc: just uninstall the game and reinstall it. This will let the game be installed from disk while the 6.7 GB patch will be downloaded correctly, minimizing download time. For those who would rather wait for the resolution of the problem, it only remains to wait for further news from the Publisher.
