Master Chief Halo: The Collection is updated with a new patch

343 Industries has announced the availability of a new patch for Halo: The Master Chief Collection in order to solve a number of problems that plagued the game mainly related to matchmaking. The update weighs in at 523MB. To follow the list of the major enhancements that you will notice once you have downloaded the patch.


Matchmaking

  • Improvements have been made concerning the opponent's selection system
  • Improvements in the team selection process to improve the team balance
  • Were reduced waiting times during the quest activity phase of opponents and games
  • Fixed a problem with the message "connection in progress" that sometimes continued to exist even after the entry into the game

Party and custom games

  • Fixed an issue that could cause sometimes the loss of custom settings
  • Made an update in order to ensure the proper management of the emblems
  • Made an update to improve the display of emblems in the menu "session Notes"
  • Now the lobby system is more stable and secure even after completing a matchmaking game; this ensures players to find each other even after the game

Stability

  • Improved stability of the user interface
  • Were solved the stability problems when displaying medals in "player Notes"
  • Made an update to avoid stability problems caused by a possible disconnection of controller
  • Improved general stability of Halo 2 Anniversary campaign
  • Fixed an issue in Halo 2 Anniversary playlist search related Rumble that could cause a crash of the console
  • Resolved a number of stability issues to improve overall performance of the game
