The Agency's analysis of u.s. market NPD today released its usual monthly report on sales in the u.s. market last month. Unfortunately the hardware numbers were not disclosed, but the General scenario doesn't seem unchanged: PS4 continues to dominate the market (for the eighth month in a row) with Xbox One in second place, although Microsoft has however declared that August sales were almost double than that of July.

It seems, however, that in General, things are going very well for the videogame industry: NPD said combined sales of PS4 and Xbox One made so far have exceeded the 70% that sold last generation consoles at this stage of their life cycle.
