Microsoft has just announced the news in the Xbox One update in June, confirming the arrival of much awaited functionality. The longer wait is undoubtedly the support for external storage , which also introduces a convenient feature of " sharing with friends ".

Since the arrival of the new update we can connect any USB 3.0 hard disk minimum size of 250 GB, but homeless by maximum size: the requirement of USB 3.0 is required to ensure that the data transfer rate is sufficient to have a gaming experience similar to that of installing games on the internal disk. If you use a standard slower, in fact, the titles would have problems loading and data streaming, ruining the game experience. Once connected and formatted (obviously in an unusable format on PC) the disk, we can easily move from the main hard disk contuti-games, add-on, app, rescues-or decide to install new games directly.

But that's not all: you can also move the hard drive to a friend's House and play with titles that you have installed, as long as of course do the login with our users. Until now it was already possible to start our games consoles of friends, but this required reinstalling, downloading updates, and so on. This way you won't have to download or install anything: simply connect our hard drives, login with our users and we'll be ready to play. And ovvviamente for retail games must also insert the original disc as proof that you own the game.

Among other changes announced there is also the possibility of appearing on friends lists with your real name next to the Gamertag, so as to be more easily recognizable. On this we will have full control: you can decide whether to show the name at all, only to our friends or just to Favorites. In addition to preserve privacy, multiplayer games will not ever our name, but only in the friends list.

And again: you can now set up an account for auto-login to the console when the light. Many are using autologon through recognition with Kinect, but for the disabled or for those who in the future will not have the Kinect, you can ensure that your profile is automatically activated when you turn on the console.
