Codemasters: a GRID for the new console will come in due time

Today's announcement of GRID Autosport did turn up their noses at those who were expecting a glitzy new racer for the next-generation consoles: since the game was released on PC, why not release an Xbox version One and PS4? About intervened on NeoGAF the community manager at Codemasters Ben Walke, stating that a GRID for the new console will come " in due time " and that the developer wanted to achieve something not English that he had the right feeling next-gen.

Walke explained that Codemasters has it that the first title for the new console is something really great, unhurried designed and rich in content. " We have 22 locations in Autosport, most of which are real circuits: we have to put them all if we had supported the next gen? I doubt it , "explained the community manager, without explaining why, however, then the game is also planned on PC-which is the main development platform-machines whose abilities are comparable if not superior to the new console.

Walke has finally explained that developers are at work on the next-gen version of their engine, the EGO, but who want to work without haste. All Xbox owners One who have already abandoned the old gene selling their previous console should then wait for future updates.
