Ubisoft has announced that, in conjunction with the release of the game on May 27, will be published a novel in downloadable eBook format titled Watch Dogs//n/Dark Clouds . The product will be marketed in 5 languages (English, French, Spanish, German and Italian) and will be made available in two versions: an interactive eBook that contains also video and images and a classic format eBook.

The plot is written by John Shirley, an important figure in cyberpunk and hacker communities, and the events immediately following will tell to those experienced by the main character in the video game.
