Codemasters confirmed that the Grand Prix was removed from F1 2012, and so players can no more Formula 1 season with one rider actually exists. This mode has been replaced by the Quick Race, thanks to which we will be able to take part in a single race but we will not be able to create a series of races. However we always participate in leagues with our character created from scratch, with a career aided by lasting 5 years. Also the automotive team that we will be able to choose at the beginning will be decided according to the difficulty selected.

You have not specified the reason for removal of the Grand Prix, considering it was present in all previous games by Codemasters. In addition to career mode and Quick Race, the Season will be available, or the particular Challanges challenges, and Young Drive Test, enabling beginners to familiarize themselves with the Formula 1.
