Activision has announced the development at Etranges Libellules Dragon Trainer, action game inspired by the homonymous film of DreamWorks Animation. The game will trace the locations of the film, which the village of the Vikings, the wilderness and the Arena for the fights of the vast island of Berk and sees the protagonist a hero Viking with a desire to become the best trainer of dragons.

Besides the story mode, the title will feature a compartment that will allow more players to field our own dragons to make them into collision with those of our friends list. The game will also include a series of mini-games consist of puzzles and memory exercises on the world of dragons. Solving the mini-games will earn experience points to improve our dragon.

Dragon Trainer is expected on Xbox 360, PS3, Wii and Nintendo DS on 26 March, to coincide with the release of the film. Following the cover of the game and the first three images depicting scenes and characters she encounters in the adventure.
