NO LAW: Neon Giant shows the gameplay of its open-world FPS RPG
In the game we will play the role of Grey Harker, an army veteran who, after suffering near-fatal injuries in his last mission, has decided to turn his back on military life to devote himself to a quiet existence, among its plants. Harker no longer looks for trouble, but trouble knows where to find him: one day there is a knock on his door and it is time to settle the score, relying on the instinct gained in special operations and the arsenal he has built for himself. Training will be our advantage, equipment our sentence, and the cost to pay to take back what belongs to us will take a back seat.
The story revolves around memorable characters in a cyber-noir city overlooking the sea, and the consequences of our decisions have a concrete weight even where the rules do not exist. During the journey we will meet equally characterized allies and enemies, and each choice will leave a mark: whether we decide to help a friend in difficulty or eliminate yet another alley hooligan, the result will change. Multiple replays are planned precisely to discover alternative paths and different outcomes.
Port Desire, set against a cliff overlooking the sea, is an industrial city with a cybergrunge soul, full of vegetation and personality, an import and export hub where people of all kinds converge in search of their wildest dreams. Here nothing is forbidden and the entire city becomes our playground, both for tactical stealth and for the most direct first-person action. We can explore it vertically, from the roofs that scratch the smog to the alleys that suffocate inside, but it will be better to be careful where we step: where there is no law, many do it themselves.
On the gameplay front, the studio insists on freedom of approach: we can take advantage of Grey's tactical past while remaining in the shadows or let him vent and throw ourselves into the fray with bullets. In both cases it is worth exploring the variety of military upgrades available, including sci-fi devices with which to bypass enemies, vertical movement and frontal chaos, so as to transform each mission into a personal story.
We now leave you to the gameplay trailer.
