Warner Bros. Games has released a new long movie of LEGO Batman: The Dark Knight's Legacy, dedicated entirely to our headquarters in the game: the legendary Batcave.

Developed by the guys at TT Games, the new open-world action-adventure will put us in the shoes of Bruce Wayne on his path to become the protector of Gotham City, all seasoned with the classic and unmistakable humor of the LEGO universe. The title is arriving on May 22nd, but by pre-ordering the Deluxe Edition we will have the opportunity to start playing 72 hours in advance, starting from May 19th, also obtaining the exclusive costume inspired by the comic series The Dark Knight Returns.

The newly released video, narrated by Jonathan Smith (strategic director of the development team), shows us how the vast underground base located under Wayne Mansion will serve as the real hub of our operations, evolving and growing as we continue in the adventure. Inside the Batcave we will be able to upgrade our gadgets, show off the trophies obtained, consult important investigative dossiers on the Batcomputer and even customize the environment with various themed aesthetic elements, even setting up a personal gym.

The hideout will obviously serve as an immense garage for an incredible collection of vehicles recreated in bricks. We will be able to get behind the wheel of numerous Batmobiles and Batmotos, going from the unforgettable car of the 60s TV series to the gothic one of the 1989 film, up to the skeletal racing car of Batman Forever and the massive Tumbler of the Dark Knight trilogy.

As for the wardrobe, we will have 100 different costumes dedicated to Batman and his allies, with suits ranging from the first appearance in Detective Comics in 1939 to the recent film The Batman. In this regard, we remind you that by creating or linking a WB Games account we will be able to unlock the Golden Age suit for free.

Finally, for collectors, the purchase of four new royal sets of the LEGO DC Batman line will guarantee access to as many in-game digital content: the Batman logo set will reward us with an exclusive golden suit, while the three sets dedicated to the various Batmobiles will allow us to unlock their respective videogame counterparts that can be used in the game, accompanied by sumptuous gold-colored variants.
