Konami has finally announced Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2, the new collection of the MGS series that will be available starting August 27th. This Collection also marks a highly anticipated moment for Xbox fans, as it finally brings Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots to our consoles, 18 years after its original launch on PS3!

In fact, it is the first ever conversion of the title since its original release dated 2008, thus allowing us to play the epilogue of the Solid Snake saga on modern hardware. Completing the offer of the main titles we find Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker (based on the HD Collection version), which will include support for online play allowing us to collaborate in teams of up to six players.

The pack is enriched with numerous extra content that will delight long-time fans. Among the digital bonuses we find the spin-off Metal Gear: Ghost Babel, accompanied by Metal Gear Solid: Digital Soundtrack Vol. 2. Also included will be the "Screenplay Books" with the scripts of the two main titles, the "Master Books" with details on characters and plot, and a complete database that traces the lore of the series from the first Metal Gear to the fourth chapter.

For those who prefer not to buy the entire collection, Konami has confirmed that MGS 4 and Peace Walker will also be available for single purchase. Those who pre-order will receive as a bonus the camouflages "Cardboard Camouflage" for the fourth chapter and "Love Cardboard" for Peace Walker; additional in-game items are also provided for those who already own a save from the previous Master Collection Vol. 1.
