Dragon Quest VII Reimagined: playable demo arrives, new trailers
This trial version allows us to start the adventure right away, offering several hours of gameplay taken from the initial stages of the story. A very welcome feature is the ability to transfer save data to the full game once purchased, allowing us not to lose the progress made. In addition, those who play the demo and then move on to the final version will receive an exclusive cosmetic bonus within the game: the charming dress for Maribel, a costume that will make the fighter even more elegant.
In Dragon Quest VII Reimagined we will take on the role of a young hero and his childhood friends who, after being transported away from the quiet island on which they have always lived, will find themselves involved in an unforgettable adventure. Thanks to fragments of ancient tablets, we'll travel back in time to discover entire lands sealed off by dark forces. As we recover new fragments and open passages to the past, our search for answers will turn into an epic struggle for the fate of the world.
The game brings back Akira Toriyama's famous character designs, now reimagined in a charming "handmade" 3D art style, with dioramas-inspired dungeons and environments. While remaining faithful to the original story, the title offers a more streamlined experience enriched with side quests and optional mini-games. The combat system has also been made more dynamic with substantial changes: we will in fact be able to take advantage of the "double job", which allows you to use two vocations at the same time, the new ability "Free Vent" and the new vocation "Domamostri" to call creatures into battle.
The demo is accompanied by a trailer showing the contents, and another showing the opening movie of the game; Here they are!
