Rumor: Battlefield 6 will be revealed on July 31

Between rumors, leaks from beta tests and "care packages" received from influencers, the name of Battlefield 6 has circulated a lot in recent days. And it seems that now EA is almost ready to reveal the highly anticipated return of its war series.

According to sources close to EA's plans who have come into contact with the Insider Gaming site, in fact, the reveal of the game will take place on July 31st. According to these tipsters, the announcement will be preceded by an event dedicated to press and content creators, who will have the opportunity to try the game in preview from July 29 to 31. The setting seems to follow that of events such as Activision's COD Next, further proof of how the new title aims to replicate the success of the competing series. The event will take place behind closed doors, culminating in the official presentation to the public.

On July 31, therefore, Battlefield 6 will finally be unveiled to the whole world with the first gameplay, interviews with the developers and, hopefully, more details. We expect to find out the final release date of the game, future beta dates, and more. It is not clear if during the presentation we will also see the rumored free-to-play game mode, designed to face Microsoft/Activision's Warzone .

The same sources also shed light on the mysterious promotional package received yesterday by several content creators: they will be able to open it on July 24, thus revealing the details of the end-of-month event. It also seems that the date of July 31 had already been anticipated by a leak on Reddit weeks ago, but at the time the information was not considered reliable.

So we just have to wait for the end of the month to find out what the new chapter of the EA shooter will have in store for us, whose arrival should be expected by the end of the year.
