During the Summer Game Fest a new trailer was shown for Mixtape, action-adventure by the Beethoven & Dinosaur development team, the same as the splendid Artful Escape.

The new Annapurna adventure, as already announced, will arrive at launch on Game Pass. Below are some details, the trailer shown during the SGF and a set of images.

On their last night together, three friends embark on one last adventure. Listen to a mixtape of memories, with the soundtrack of a generation.

On the journey to their final party together, a perfectly curated playlist draws the three friends into dreamlike reminiscences of their formative memories. Players will be able to experience a series of narrative vignettes that explore the pivotal moments that shaped them. Players will immerse themselves in the teenage wasteland by playing a mixtape of joyful games, from skateboarding to flying, from taking photos after hours in an abandoned theme park to hitting baseballs and setting up a fireworks display from the back seat of a car. They are the greatest successes of the adolescent experience, from the first kiss to the last dance.

Created by Beethoven & Dinosaur, developers of the BAFTA award-winning game The Artful Escape, Mixtape draws inspiration from classic films about the transition to adulthood, combining the nostalgia for the aimless life, mischief, music, the ups and downs of adolescence, and the bittersweet feelings of growing up, transforming, and moving on.

Featuring music by DEVO, Roxy Music, Lush, The Smashing Pumpkins, Iggy Pop, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Joy Division, The Cure and many more.
