Build a Rocket Boy, the studio founded by former Rockstar president Leslie Benzies, recently unveiled four minutes of gameplay of their MindsEye, an ambitious GTA-style title immersed in Watch Dogs-like technologies. The footage shows a rescue mission that includes driving phases, shooting, and flight sequences, offering a first concrete look at the game mechanics.

The game has also recently been tested by influencers and the press, and first impressions are not entirely positive. Several of those who have played it have noticed a rather dated general feeling, with animations, shooting mechanics and driving model that seem to lack personality and finish. For example, YouTuber MrMattyPlays reported the presence of numerous bugs and the need for developers to use invincibility options to circumvent technical problems during demos.

We hope that these impressions are only the result of the immature stage in development in which the ambitious title finds itself, and that it can undergo significant improvements before the launch, for now still without a date. We leave you to the video, enjoy!
