Xbox celebrates 10 years of The Witcher 3 with two limited edition controllers
The CD Projekt Red team has taken great care to represent the style of The Witcher 3 and Geralt himself, with the iconography of the wolf medallion in the center of the controller. This locket is a constant element for Geralt, alerting him to impending dangers, and the intent is for players to connect to controllers in the same way. The design sees the wolf's head positioned under the Xbox button, among other inputs, with its menacing red eyes.
The controllers also feature the Glagolitic script, the oldest known Slavic alphabet, the same one found in the game. The controllers also feature the iconic red claw sign of The Witcher 3 logo, a tribute to Geralt's adventures. The controller's triggers have two different colors, in reference to the witcher's two swords: silver for monsters and steel for humans. These decorative elements are true to the style of The Witcher 3, appearing as if they were carefully painted or crafted and then worn out by time and battles.
