Starfield: three animated shorts introduce us to the lore of the game

In view of the launch of the highly anticipated Starfield, the exclusive Xbox console expected for September 6 (or 1 for owners of the Premium Edition, upgrade from Game Pass or Constellation Edition), Bethesda has launched "Colonized Systems: An animated anthology of Starfield", a series of animated short films that introduce us to the locations of the game.

The three films give us a preview of Starfield's three main cities, following us to a courier pilot who craves the exhilarating life of the elite of New Atlantis, an orphan looking for a way out of Akila City, and two street rats struggling to survive in the Lower Abdomen of Neon.

Here are the descriptions of the three videos, which you find below.

Supra et ultra
In the city of New Atlantis, capital of the Colonial Union, a courier pilot aspires to live in the most coveted part of the Colonized Systems. But after joining the UC Vanguard and making a career in the capital's elite, Kent soon realizes that the adventures that await him away from the planet are what he really wants.

Where hope is created
Vanna, an orphan of Akila City from the famous Colonial War, desperately wants to explore the stars. There is only one problem: his ship. The search for spare parts leads her around the city and in the midst of an unexpected danger, while her dream gets closer and closer.

The hand that nourishes
Two Neon street rats, Ada and Harper, are accomplices who make a living by stealing from rich revelers who come to the "city of pleasure" to give themselves to crazy joy. Faced with a moral dilemma, Ada immediately captures the interest of Ryujin Industries, which offer her a new and exciting opportunity. But at what cost?
