As is now customary, this year there will be the appointment with the new Call of Duty and, according to a new rumor, it will be Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, a direct sequel to last year's title developed this time by Sledgehammer Games.

The information comes from the site Insider Gaming, according to whose sources the game was initially born as a DLC of MW2, but then evolved into an independent game complete with all the usual components of a CoD: Campaign, Multiplayer, Zombies and even a new Warzone 2.0 map that, according to the site, will be based on the Las Almas map of MW2.

An interesting note also for the new Zombies mode: Activision would be deciding whether to include it in the paid game or whether to make it free-to-play as it did with Warzone.

We just have to wait for the official announcement, to verify the veracity of this information; It should arrive in the course of the next month.
