SIFU arrives March 28 on Xbox, along with the Arena update

After previously announcing it for March, Sloclap has now revealed the exact date when the acclaimed martial arts action game SIFU will finally arrive on Xbox: March 28. The game will also arrive on Microsoft consoles on the same day as the launch of the Arena update, which adds 10 hours of gameplay.

Here are the official details about the update and the game, followed by the trailer dedicated to the new content.

With nine new locations and 45 ruthless challenges spread across five game modes, the Arena expansion offers up to 10 hours more gameplay to the already challenging title. Kung fu masters will be pushed to the limit by waves of enemies that will fall on them in Survival mode, or pushed to perfection in Exhibition mode. With Time Attack, players can also fight against the clock on a path full of enemies. Sifus looking for a twist in the game's impact combat can also try the new Capture mode – where players must conquer and maintain a marked area – or Manhunt mode, where you have to take down a specific target surrounded by protectors.

No matter which kung-fu mode you choose, enemies will be dismantled in varied and beautiful scenarios. From effervescent and colorful voids to rain-drenched alleys, your enemies await you, ready to be brought down with speed and ferocity.

A beat 'em up in the name of revenge, Sifu puts players in the shoes of a young kung-fu student from Pak Mei who, after the murder of his master, embarks on an epic quest for revenge. Fueled by years of training that has turned them into an unstoppable force, players will hunt down the terrifying warriors who slaughtered their master years ago, as well as the countless henchmen who guard them. But revenge comes at a price, which is achieved through defeat and the power of a mystical talisman. With each failure, players will be resurrected, older and wiser, albeit with fewer years than before. How much is revenge worth to you?

Following its debut on PlayStation and PC consoles in February 2022, Sifu was acclaimed as one of last year's best action/beat 'em up titles, surpassing more than a million copies sold in the first three weeks and garnering critical acclaim. Sloclap's support for Sifu has been extensive, with numerous updates launched throughout 2022 that have added difficulty modes, a long list of exciting game modifiers, new outfits, and more. All content from updates added to Sifu to date will be available in new versions of the game.
