Dragon Ball: The Breakers asymmetrical multiplayer arrives in October, new trailer

Bandai Namco has announced that Dragon Ball: The Breakers, a new title dedicated to the Akira Toriyama series that this time will see us grappling with an asymmetrical multiplayer experience, will arrive on October 14th. The game will see a team of seven Survivors trying to escape from a Reaper. The Reaper, one of the main antagonists of the franchise, will have to exploit his overwhelming power and his increasingly powerful evolutions to hunt down the Survivors and defeat them.

The Survivors are simple citizens who have been captured by a "Temporal Fracture", remaining trapped in a place where space and time are now in chaos. The main objective of the Survivors is to escape from the Temporal Fracture using various accessories, of which the most precious are the Transfers, which contain the souls of some warriors and confer special abilities and powers to those who use them.

In this dangerous scenario shared with the Reaper, the Survivors must use the Super Time Machine to escape the Time Fracture before the enemy becomes unstoppable.

A Closed Network Test will be held on all platforms on August 6 and 7 . Players can register here for a chance to participate. During the CNT, you will be able to play with Cell and Frieza, the newly announced Reaper. As a Survivor you can use your avatar or the Oolong Survivor skin and the Bulma Survivor skin.

The CNT will be playable at the following Italian times:

  • Saturday, 6 August, from 4:00 to 8:00
  • Saturday, 6 August, from 14:00 to 18:00
  • Saturday, 6 August, from 20:00 to 00:00
  • Sunday, 7 August, from 4:00 to 8:00

Subsequently, an Open Beta Test session will be organized, of which more details will be announced soon.

We leave you now to a new trailer of the game showing the gameplay and a set of images.
