Nacon today announced the development of Greedfall II: The Dying World, a sequel to the RPG of the French Spiders that this time will move us from the island of the first game to the "old continent" of Gacane, a world torn by wars and pestilences where we can create our own story.

To be able to see the game it will still take a long time, since the release is scheduled for 2024; in the meantime here are the official details, the announcement trailer and a first set of images.

The story of Greedfall II: The Dying World begins three years before the events of the first game and the adventures of De Sardet.

This time you will take on the role of a native of Teer Fradee, forcibly uprooted from your island and taken to the continent of Gacane, where the settlers come from. In this war-torn old world marked by the plague of Malichor and the political intrigues of the different factions, you must regain freedom and control of your destiny. Using diplomacy, cunning or combat, as well as the help of the allies you have made, you will have to put an end to the ambitions of conquest of a man that could mark the end of the continent and your island.

Relive the unique world of GreedFall by exploring the old continent! Travel through new landscapes, from Olima - the city of stars of the Bridge Alliance - to the shores of Uxantis, and discover the secrets of these ancient lands. Meet all the factions that share control of these nations and navigate the treacherous waters of their schemes and conspiracies.
