Poland's The Farm 51 has announced that the action-survival Chernobylite will be updated for free to the next-gen version on April 21: Xbox Series X|SPS5 owners will be able to enjoy improvements that take advantage of the hardware of the new consoles.

The update involves the introduction of ray tracing, which will greatly improve the already hyper-realistic visual elements of the game, as well as two additional graphic profiles: 4K (Dynamics) 30 FPS and 1080p (Ultra Details) 60 FPS.

Finally, on the same day, the first of four new DLCs scheduled for 2022, Blue Flames, will arrive, which includes a free content update, entitled "Memories of you", a new weapon, the Silent Assassin crossbow and a pack of paid aesthetic elements. With "Memories of You", players will discover more details about Tatyana and Igor's past through new events and collectibles.
