One of the most interesting divisions of Xbox Game Studios is XGS Publishing, the arm of the studios that deals with producing and publishing First Party titles produced in collaboration with external studios. This fierce team has spawned major collaborations such as Interior Night's As Dusk Falls, Avalanche's Contraband and IO Interactive'srumored Project Dragon. And, according to recent rumors, that's not all.

In fact, two separate sources, journalists Jeff Grubb and Jez Corden,received information that XGS Publishing would be working on a"Monster Hunter-style"title made by Certain Affinity,the Texas studio that collaborated on the development of Halo and Call of Duty.

According to the information that emerged, the new title, codenamed Project Suerte,would therefore be focused on battles with huge monsters, and would also have a multiplayer component. Development would begin in summer 2020 and release is expected in 2024, with an official announcement expected in 2023.

Will it be true? To find out we will have to wait another year, apparently.
