Xbox Cloud Gaming now available to everyone on iOS and PC, confirmed the move to Series X

If you were waiting to use Xbox Cloud Gaming (formerly known as xCloud) on PCs or iOS devices and were not part of the closed test that has taken place to date, here's good news: Microsoft has announced that from today all Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription holders can use cloud gaming on their PCs or iOS devices, simply by accessing the xbox.com/playsite.

Microsoft has also taken advantage of this to formalize the transition of Xbox Cloud Gaming's server infrastructure to Xbox Series X-based hardware, which will allow us not only to enjoy much higher performance than previous Xbox One S-basedhardware, but will also allow games available exclusively on new hardware, such as The Medium and others of future release, to be played in the cloud as well.

All Games optimized for Series X|S will thus enjoy graphical, performance and upload improvements even if played via cloud, but for now streaming will be limited to 1080p and 60 fps to maintain good usability.

We remind you that Xbox Game Pass is a subscription service that, at a cost of 9.99 Euros per month, allows you to play freely and without limitation all the titles included in the service, with new games that are added every month. You can buy it from this page on the Microsoft Store, or make a single subscription to Game Pass + Live Gold + EA Play + Cloud Gaming with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, which can be purchased from this page.
