As promised, Bandai Namco today released the gameplay video for The Dark Pictures: House of Ashes,the new chapter in the Supermassive Games horror adventure coming later this year. The footage shows various cramped scenarios and the protagonist as he tackles the darkness of the setting. We are also shown how we will have to cure our adventure partner after he is attacked by a creepy creature inside the temple.

We remind you that the game is set in Iraq, 2003. In the shadow of the Zagros Mountains, a military unit has a firefight with Iraqi forces. The result of this battle is a seismic shock that causes both sides to fall into the buried ruins of the once Sumerian.
