Milan – February 18, 2021. Milestone and Dorna Sports S.L. are proud to announce that MotoGP™21, the next chapter in the exciting series of two-wheeled simulation games, will enrich the franchise's great history. Coming soon on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, PC, Steam and Epic Games Store, MotoGP™21 will be launched on April 22, 2021.

Presenting the Official Season 2021 and enriched by the power of next-gen consoles, MotoGPâ„¢21 is ready to change gears and race at full speed, giving an unprecedented experience.

A brand new progressive and strategic managerial career mode, smarter and more advanced neural AI, and gameplay improvements will increase simulation realism and player immersion feel. This year, MotoGP seems â„¢ more real than ever!

A real MotoGP experienceâ„¢

The new edition of managerial career mode will allow players to deepen the management experience, making available some new features both on and off the track. Building the best possible team and customizing the bike are the keys to success. Being fast on the track now is up to you!

The Personal Manager leads the staff, helping drivers look for new and prestigious contracts at the best teams in the league. Alongside them, the Chief Engineer works to increase search points, earned weekly or during free practice sessions. Last but not least, the Data Analyst has the task of finding the perfect balance for each development area in which to progress, in order to make all the staff effective and dynamic. These elements have been added with the goal of creating a deeper and more complete career experience. How about starting from the bottom with a Junior Team?

Of course the route will be more difficult, but at the same time more personal. Hiring the right people is always fundamental for success, starting with the Team Manager, who will look for new sponsorships and riders, up to the Technical Director who manages the R&D department for junior motorcycles. Of course, don't forget to hire a driver, a talented young star to lead the team to the top of the leaderboard.

In both cases the bike is the protagonist in MotoGP â„¢ 21 and the customization takes a further step towards reality. Assign your staff members to any of the motorcycle development branches and invest your research and development points to improve engine power, aerodynamics, chassis, and major electronic features, such as traction control, brake, anti-pollution, and power mapping. And, of course, the aesthetic aspect is also important, that's why MotoGP â„¢ once again presents an editor divided into five main categories: helmet, livery, suit, stickers and race number.

The future of two-wheeled gaming is here

We promised a more real experience than ever before and the managerial career is just one of this year's improvements. The gameplay also has some new features to present: the goal is to create an electrifying, strategic and adrenaline racing simulation.

  • Motorcycle recovery sequence. Once you fall, you won't automatically regenerate on the track anymore. You will have to get up and get back on the bike, as fast as possible. Pay attention to how you take turns!
  • Brake temperature. Driving is not only a matter of speed, but also of strategy. Monitoring the brake temperature is the key to always having the situation under control. If they are too hot or too cold they risk losing their effectiveness.
  • Penalty on the long lap. Finally, this feature is also coming to the MotoGP â„¢ franchise, which means penalties can now be more specific.
  • Revised motorcycle suspension system. The level of realism is rising again. This feature is dedicated to all racing simulation lovers!

As 2021 is the year of the next generation consoles, MotoGP â„¢ 21 is also ready to provide some unmissable additions. Players playing on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X will enjoy dynamic resolution up to 4K, up to 60FPS. The overall quality is greatly improved and the enhanced lighting creates a world that conveys all the feeling of a real run. Loading times are faster and for those who can't live without the thrill of the competition, online races are now up to 22 drivers. Finally, as a surge on the finish line, PlayStation players will appreciate the amazing functionality of PS5 DualSense â„¢, including haptic feedback and adaptive triggers.

And finally, anna'snext level. Our revolutionary machine learning-based AI is back with further improvements to compete against faster, smarter, and more accurate opponents than ever before, making the offline experience equal to a real race.

And this is just the beginning! MotoGP â„¢ 21 will become even bigger and better over the months thanks to some new content that will be introduced through patches. Day one is just the beginning of the race!

MotoGPâ„¢21 will be released on April 22, 2021 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, PC, Steam and Epic Games Store.
