The cover of MLB The Show 21 leaks on the web; is the first Sony title to arrive on Xbox

If you are passionate about American sports, and more specifically baseball, you will surely know that the simulator dedicated to the American league, MLB The Show, has long been an exclusive to Sony consoles, and developed by Sony itself. You may also be aware that, in December 2019, Sony and MLB renewed their licensing agreement, but with a commitment from Sony to develop the game for other platforms as well.

At the time, many speculated that the series would also arrive on Xbox, but there was no certainty. Today we have this confirmation thanks to the covers of MLB The Show 21 leaked - and quickly removed - on the American site of GameStop; thanks to these we discover that the game will arrive on both Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One,but without Smart Delivery. The game will then be sold in two versions, old gen and current gen, to be taken depending on the console you own.

But that's not all: the cover, which reveals the image man of this year's game, Dominican Fernando "El Niño" Tatís Jr. of the San Diego Padres, also features the logo of PlayStation Studios and Sony San Diego, the studio responsible for the development of the title, in plain sight. For the first time, by launching an Xbox title, we will see the PlayStation logo appear.

Waiting to learn more about the game, we leave you to the leaked cover image: here it is!
