Smilegate postpones CrossfireX's store debut to 2021

Since last July,on the occasion of the Xbox Games Showcase, Smilegate and Remedy Entertainment did not tell us about the CrossfireXshooter, so there was already the widespread hint that it could not arrive by the end of the year as planned; today comes via the game's Twitter channel the confirmation of the slippage to a generic 2021. Pending a more precise date we will report the translation of the message.

"Following a long reflection and for the challenges faced by the Smilegate team due to the Covid-19 emergency, we made the difficult decision to postpone crossfirex's debut to 2021. Moving the release date forward will allow us to bring you the Crossfire experience to consoles that we had in mind from the beginning. We will soon share more details about the game with you."

We remind you that the game will arrive in a double form: the multiplayer part, developed by Smilegate and of which there has already been a beta period, will be free-to-play, while the single-player campaign, developed by Remedy Entertainment, will be paid.
