Microsoft halts production of Xbox One X and All-Digital ahead of next-gen

Microsoft has revealed to the American website The Verge that it has stopped production of the Xbox One X and Xbox One S All-Digital,so as not to put new units on the market and facilitate the disposal of those still in store stores, ahead of the release of Xbox Series X at the end of the year. Thestandard Xbox One S,on the other hand, is still being produced for now, probably to leave a console with a cheap disk player on the market as an alternative to the next-gen consoles.

So it's likely that, in the coming months, these two console models will be increasingly rare to find in stores: Microsoft's aim is surely to run out of stock so that, with the release of Xbox Series X (and perhaps Lockhart/Xbox Series S), consumers can't get confused by seeing different console models on the shelves.
