Bethesda announced today that patch 1.0.5 for Wolfenstein: Youngblood will be released next week, which is going to improve the balance of the game difficulty, and that follows the recent patch 1.0.4 that introduced the ability to put in pause the game if you are playing alone and not in co-op.

Patch 1.0.5 contains several features required by players. Some of the most important are theaddition of checkpoints to the final towers and bosses, the ability to turn enemy health bars on and off for a more traditional Wolfenstein experience, and improvements to the AI of the allows her to retreat more often when she takes damage from larger enemies.

Here are some important news in Update 1.0.5:

  • Adjusting the difficulty of all bosses.
  • Several interventions were made to reduce the feeling that the enemy was absorbing a large amount of blows.
  • Ammunition for basic weapons is available when the player returns.
  • Additional special weapons ammunition has been added to the most difficult areas.
  • Added multiple copies of tutorial laptops to make it easier to complete 100%.
  • Fixed an issue where enemies could re-enter an area prematurely.

If you're having trouble with the game, then wait for next week's update and take on the role of the Blazkowicz sisters!
