If you're interested in the massive expansion of Monster Hunter:World, Iceborne, you'll soon be able to test it before you decide to purchase; Capcom has announced that from 2 to 5 September will take place on Xbox One game, which will allow us to try it out in both single player and single player content. Multiplayer.

If you were already determined to take it, you might still want to try the Beta as, by completing specific goals, you'll receive an in-game content pack for the final expansion.

Iceborne is a massive expansion that continues the story of Monster Hunter: World and opens up the new degree of Master, introducing a new story with missions, monsters, weapons and armor. These are the features of the expansion:

  • New Hunting Mechanics - All 14 types of weapons offer new moves and combos like never before. Each weapon will also allow you to use the claw grapple, a new slingshot feature, to attack monsters. Consume your stamina to cling to monsters, but new ways to control their movements will open up!
  • New Difficulty Level: Master Grade - In addition to bass and high grade, the game introduces a new difficulty called "master grade". Master-grade missions will become available once you purchase the Monster Hunter World: Iceborne expansion. You'll be able to get new materials and fight even more powerful monsters in these missions.
  • New Region: Frosty Expanses - A place of unknown features, still unexplored. The frosty expanses teem with unique endemic life and monsters that could exist only in such a harsh climate. This region offers varied geographical features, ranging from deep layers of snow that prevent movement, to relaxing hot springs and even unstable terrain that could collapse at any time. The visual effects are among the most detailed the Monster Hunter series has ever seen.
  • New Monsters - The Frosty Expanses are home to many new creatures and endemic monsters, such as the Snow-swimming Beotodus, the raging Banbaro, and the mysterious dragon Velkhana. But the changes are also taking place in familiar environments: keep an eye on new tracks from fan favorite monsters, such as Tigrex and Nargacuga.
