Sea of Thieves updates with Dark Relics, pets arrive in September

After the great AnniversaryUpdate, in July Rare started again (starting with Black Powder Stashes)with the release of monthly updates (every second Wednesday of the month) that regularly add new content and mechanics to Sea of Thieves; yesterday came the second of these updates, Dark Relics.

The new update adds new challenges and interesting new features to the pirate title: first the rowing boat is now equipped with a harpoon, usable in multiple ways including the ability to hook it to a megalodon! Among the other novelties there is the possibility that, among the floating barrels that we will encounter at sea, there are now also barrels of gunpowder, which could cause some unforeseen events if we do not keep an eye on the sea in front of us.

But the main novelty of the update are the Reaper'sCasses, which appear in the sunken wrecks signaling their presence with a beam of light projected towards the sky; Selling these crates will guarantee us many dobloni, but the beam of light will remain even as we transport them, signaling us as a tempting prey for all the other players on the map. In addition to this there are of course new timed trips that will allow us to earn precious dobloni, this time recovering the "dark relics", of the ritual skulls scattered around the map.

Rare finally anticipates that with theSeptember update (titled Reaper's Bones, The Bones of the Reaper)pets such as monkeys and parrots will finally arrive, which can be purchased through microtransactions and whose purpose is purely cosmetic: we can have fun interacting with them and always take them with us. For this purpose, it will open a new store dedicated to purchases with microtransactions, in which we can buy these new friends.

Now we leave you to the trailer that shows us the contents of the dark Relicsupdate : good viewing!
