Drinkbox Studios today announced that the acclaimed metroidvania Guacamelee! 2 arrives on Xbox One and Windows 10 in April 2019, complete with support Play Anywhere with cross-cross-buy and save, so with one purchase you can play it on both platforms with the ability to switch from one to the other while keeping your progress.

The study also explained that the launch of the game will also be available the first DLC, "Tree Enimigos" , which at the price of €2.49 will add three new playable characters El Muñeco, Uay Pek and Jaguar Javier, each with different characteristics.

In addition to this there is a second extra package, "Proving Grounds" , which will cost €3.49 and will introduce to 15 unique challenges where you can unlock Flame Face, Chamoya, Coscorrona, Ramirez, Uay Coco and two other characters (secrets playable), also with different characteristics. It is unclear at the moment if this will be available for Xbox to launch game or if it will come later.
