Ripstone Games announced the development on the part of the British team Auroch Digital Achtung! Cthulhu Tactics , turn-based tactical RPG based on the paper-based RPG that sees us fight in a World War II where the Nazis have obtained a considerable advantage Lovecraftian monsters, evoking that enabled it to destroy the Allied forces.

In Achtung! Cthulhu Tactics , scheduled for the end of the year, the players will take command of Charlie company, a group of elite soldiers among the allies, sent to accomplish a mission impossible: thwarting Nazi plans and change the course of the war.

The game will use a combination of RPG and strategy, as players will take on a global campaign against the forces of evil. Each character has its own past as well as a specific specialization with weapons and certain combat skills, which will give some advantage to players during the battles:

• Captain Eric "Badger" Harris is a British secret service agent, specializing in experimental weapons and guerrilla warfare;
• Ariane Dubois was part of the French resistance and is linked to a demonic spirit that can command on the battlefield;
• Corporal Akhee "The Eye" Singh wears a sentient amulet that can turn it into a cloud of rotating swords;
• Sergeant Brandon Carter is a classic American soldier with a Medallion can instill in his Thompson submachine gun a few bullets powered by terrifying creatures capable of destroying the myths of the Nazis.

In addition to these four main heroes, Charlie company will be supported by covert operations of the special unit of Badger and the native American tribe Kejin, or "Pathfinder Demon Hunters" as they are often called. In the world of Achtung! Cthulhu Tactics all allied forces fight better in the light, so when we're in the dark forces of evil will be even more powerful.
