Good news for all pirates who populate the world of Sea of Thieves ! Rare has finally released the trailer and all the information on the next new big expansion coming later this month, which will be called Cursed Sails , or " Accursed Sails ". In this new expansion we will have to deal with crews of the damned that emerge from the depths of the abyss. But that's not all...

Cursed Sails will forever change Sea of Thieves , because now the sails that you will see on the horizon may not be populated by players in the flesh, but under those decks could be hiding skeletons looters returned from the sea from their graves restless. All you crave is the thirst for battle, which will lead them to terrorize the outposts and to call the defenders to face them in open water.

Fortunately, along with the threat of these ghost ships similar to fortresses, you add new items and features created to ensure the pirates to Sea of Thieves to help defeat these hordes of damned. In addition to the Sloop and the Galleon , you add a new ship, the Brig , a perfect vessel for the crews of three players. You will also add a system of Alliances which will encourage teams to come together to pursue their goals, tackling the biggest challenges and sharing its fruits.

Complete the new campaign of Cursed Sails will introduce new elements, which will bring the players to deal with riots and fierce battles, and earning a series of in-game prizes. While some exclusive prizes will be obtained only by those who will complete the campaign, elements such as the Covenants , the Brig and the skeletal crews will remain forever in the world of Sea of Thieves

Additionally, for the duration of the event, the "courageous" bilge Rats won't propose further challenges, at least not until the threat of ghost ships will not be eradicated. So if you won't find more Duke to the Taverna have no fear, it will be hidden somewhere!
