Nathan Shabazi, Associate Brand Manager, today announced that Sonic Mania Plus will be available on Xbox One on 17 July physical version only. This is a new edition of Sonic Mania that includes full game, new characters, completely redesigned areas and features that will delight both novices and Veterans of the saga.

You already have the digital version of Sonic Mania? No problem! Next week will be released the new DLC Encore, which includes all content available in Sonic Mania Plus .

One of the novelties is the reappearance of Mighty the Armadillo and Ray the Flying Squirrel, which Sonic Mania Plus will be playable characters. Leverage the powerful armor of Mighty to destroy any obstacle and glides on levels thanks to Ray's flight capabilities.

But that's not all: the developers have added the brand new Encore mode that challenges players to enter into innovative versions of Sonic Mania ... than ever before! Thanks to Competition mode and Time Attack, finally, have fun and play with up to three friends locally.
