As you probably know, Rare has so far carried out numerous Alpha Test sessions, Closed Beta and Test Scales Sea of Thieves , all though limited to insiders and which required the Insider app to download. Now, however, the Microsoft Store the Closed Beta of the game was made available freely to everyone : This confirms that, although for now it still retains the name "Closed", will soon be announced an Open Beta accessible by everyone.

And not only that, the download size has increased significantly to 18.58 GB, a sign that other content have been added and, finally, support for Xbox One X.

If you've never tried the game and want to be prepared for when (hopefully), will be announced the Open Beta, we recommend you put in download the title and wait for official announcements! If instead you had already participated and you preserved the game installed in the console, should have already updated with the new version.
