Square Enix and Ubisoft have announced a collaboration between Assassin's Creed: Origin and Final Fantasy XV : the Union between the two titles will be in a brand new DLC for FF XV titled Assassin's Festival. This is a limited-time free event for all players in the fantasy roleplaying game from Square Enix starting on August 31 and will end on 31 January 2018.

In Final Fantasy XV will be available a festival dedicated to the assassin series that will take place in the city of Lestallum and will see the introduction of game mechanics from the Assassin's Creed series, mini-games and several exclusive items, like the "Medjay Assassin's Robes" for Noctis, Gladiolus and Ignis. Also everyone who will gain by the end of September the Dream Egg, special subject of Moogle Chocobo Carnival, will receive the Murderer for Noctis.
