Microsoft postpones Crackdown 3 to 2018

Microsoft today announced that Crackdown 3 , planned so far for the 7 November with the launch of Xbox One X , has been postponed to the spring of 2018 to give the team more time to create an experience lived up to expectations of the fans.

This is only the latest in a series of postponements for the game which should have originally come out at the end of 2016; the recent events in which it was shown, however, the title has left audiences and critics chilly, and Microsoft probably wants to make sure that it is properly fixed before launch.

Xbox boss Phil Spencer said about on Twitter : " it is always regrettable move a date. We are working hard to release @Crackdown 3 with the level of quality that fans deserve. "

3 Crackdown was announced at E3 2014, so with this further postponement will have enjoyed more than 3 years of development; This is one of the reasons for which, recently, Phil Spencer himself has decided that Microsoft will announce their own games with such a large advance focusing only on those visibly in the HomeStretch: the most ambitious titles can often receive postpones for development needs, and announce them too far in advance not only prolong unnecessarily the waiting fans.

We hope that the time of spring 2018 is finally one where you will be able to see the game, and that the title, after a development so long, are found in a form more than excellent. We will keep you updated.
