The Spaniards Anima Project Studio and BadLand Indie today announced a new Oriental-inspired action-RPG entitled Anima: Gate of Memories . The game is about fighting and exploration, will be released in the second quarter of 2016 on Xbox One .

Players can enjoy a deep and diverse history where their choices and actions directly affect the travel to be undertaken and the fate of the characters. In the journey through the Tower Arcana and beautifully animated world of Gaia members must undertake epic battles against formidable opponents, each with its own peculiarities.

Anima: Gate of Memories focuses on two characters called the bearer and Ergo , agents of an ancient society called Nathaniel , which for centuries has protected mankind from darkness. Both receive the order to retrieve an old artifact called Byblos that was stolen from a renegade of the order. After a long chase through the areas devastated by war, manage to trap the fugitive in the middle of an ancient building. However, suddenly the whole area is swallowed by the light. Our protagonists are awakened within a strange structure in which they are no longer alone; strange beings have been summoned there. Soon, both will find that something more obscure than they could imagine is going to start a war in the shadows where they will have a leading role.
