New details on Middle-Earth: the shadow of Mordor

A few hours since the announcement yesterday were for some new info on Middle-Earth: the shadow of Mordor interesting new chapter in the rich saga of the Lord of the rings .  Here is what has been revealed thanks to a preview of the next issue of Game Informer 's.

Each enemy has its own name, rank and memory. If for any reason you don't kill if his next fight it will remember the clash and will change their tactics, not only becoming stronger but also learning new immunity. Similar dialogues will change based on previous meetings.

The enemies have their jobs to do and the AI will enable him to do some things on their own initiative, such as an ogre can duel with another or do anything requested by his commander. All this continues in realtime with or without the interference of the player.

If you kill an enemy in battle, not "die" in the traditional sense, but the respawn will happen after that in the game world will be spent a certain period of time (at the time it was not specified). During this period the same enemy who killed will have been perhaps promoted precisely for your killing or maybe it was in turn killed in a duel.

If your goal is to kill a warlord of the high level you will be able to do in many ways. One might be to decimate his entourage, killing or forcing someone to become your "agent" with the help of which ambush or booby traps in their own base, or let them kill directly our goal. Success is never guaranteed but also a failed bombing may bring benefits, including the wounding of the warlord.

The combat system seems to take inspiration from what is seen in the series Batman Arkham. It is mentioned that there is a rhythm to follow in hitting and multiple chain combo in the right way.

The game will be completely open world, so there will be everything you expect or XP, skills, quests, random events. Indeed virtually the entire game is based on random events due to enemy AI will continue to "live" even when not present on the screen.

We will approach the game with the classic direct melee combat, or in a more stealth and quiet, with a dagger or a bow. Each take dowry killing of runes, different depending on the type of killing.

Middle-Earth: the shadow of Mordor is currently under development for the current console for those next gen. The cover of Game Informer dedicated to the game.
